Oven-Baked Pork Steaks are Tender, Juicy, and Flavorful. If you’re looking for a hearty, no-fuss meal that brings everyone around the table, these oven-baked pork steaks are a win.
Prep the Meat. Preheat your oven to 300°F. Lightly oil or spray a baking sheet with cooking oil. Place pork steaks on the tray and pat dry with paper towels to help them brown better.

Season Well. Sprinkle the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, seasoned salt, and black pepper over the steaks. Flip and season the other side. No pork steak marinade needed. These turn out incredibly juicy without it.
Bake Low & Slow. Cover tightly with aluminum foil to lock in moisture. Bake for 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F in the thickest part of the meat using a meat thermometer (or instant-read thermometer). If you have extra-thick steaks (closer to a thick pork chop), baking may take up to 3 hours.
Rest & Serve. Let the pork rest for 5–10 minutes before serving. This helps keep the juices in the meat, making it fork-tender without even needing a sharp knife.
