How to Make Refrigerator Strawberry Top Syrup

• Place the clean and dried strawberry tops into a mason jar. Pour the sugar over the strawberries. Secure the lid tightly.
  1 Cup Strawberry Tops, 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
• Shake the jar well until the strawberries are coated with sugar. Place the jar in the refrigerator.
• Let the mixture sit for three days.
• Shake the jar once each day. As the sugar dissolves, it will pull the natural juices from the strawberries, creating a beautiful syrup.
• After three days, strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer into a clean jar.
• Press gently with the back of a spoon to extract the remaining syrup without forcing too much pulp through the strainer.
• Discard the strawberry tops or add them to your compost pile.
• Store the finished syrup in the refrigerator.
