Best Way to Store Slime
To keep your slime fresh and maintain its perfect consistency, follow these storage tips.
Use an Airtight Container. Store your slime in a sealable, airtight container. This prevents it from drying out or becoming sticky.
Place the container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight or heat, as warmth can alter the texture.
Make sure the slime is dry and free of excess water before storing it to prevent mold or degradation.
If you’ve made different slime varieties, it’s a good idea to label the containers.
How Long Does Cloud Slime Last?
Slime typically lasts 1 to 2 weeks when stored in an airtight container.
If you use the slime a lot, it tends to break down faster.
Discard the slime if it becomes sticky, smelly, or moldy.
Revive Dried Slime. If the slime starts to dry out, add a few drops of warm water or baby oil and knead it gently to restore it to a soft fluffy slime.
